Malware – false detection

Our launcher file "Vendetta-launcher.exe", which automatically configures the WoW game client to connect to our server, may be falsely flagged as malware by Windows Defender.

We are actively working on this issue with Microsoft, but unfortunately it is a lengthy process.

If you want to verify the file's safety, we recommend scanning it using the online service VirusTotal. Out of 72 antivirus engines, usually only 1–2 falsely detect the file as potentially harmful, which is a false positive.
